Bethal Open Day
by Princess Daisy Boo inuseless information: my bethalite sister excitedly tells me that they are having a massive open day next week at the local bethal... all neighbouring homes and businesses and their service providers etc have been invited and they will be providing tours and catering lunches etc.
wonder what they think they will achieve - a mass conversion when people see what bethal is like or something?
my mother always seems to think that once folk see bethal, they can't but believe that this must be the "truth".

LOL - mouthy - that is so funny !
Someone I knew used to run a creche. She hated FS so much and she just refused to ever go. She used to read stories out the bible story book to the little tots and count it as her hours!
I always used to put a fake hour or two down, just to keep up appearances!

Should I go to Bethal this afternoon?
by Princess Daisy Boo inso my family was supposed to be having a braai this afternoon, and a bit of a family gettogether, and this has been cancelled, but my sister is still keen on doing something and has invited us for coffee at her place at bethal... i don't really feel like going, but feel like i should (family duty and all that crap).... should i go?.

A couple of my "friends" (more accurately, people I wanted to fit in with and be friends with) were getting baptised at the next circuit assembly and I thought I would fit in if I did, and truth be told, I had a real crush on the one boy. I was 14.

So, I didn't go this afternoon, just did not have the energy to deal with my sister and her husband. The only reason why I wouldn't have minded going was because I might have been able to report back to you all on any interesting gossip....
